Seeing double? Yes, this is something that rarely happens to me.. But two of my favorite releases of this year are now doubled up in my closet! I know theres a lot of sneakerheads which are doubling up every pair they own. But to me that never seemed necessary. Let me tell you the story behind these two!
These adidas NMD citysocks have been on my feet ALOT ever since I got them. To be honest I think this is one of the most worn pairs in my closet! So when I went to Paris for the NMD party I brought these and wore them to the party. BAD IDEA! Because the Techno Rave ruined my citysocks. When I got back home I tried to clean them but they kept looking greyish and beaten. And then this miracle happend; I got send a new pair with a note ‘Same but a bit cleaner’. YES! So now I have one pair to rock and one pair to stock, haha! Never thought this would be something I would say
Then more about this perfect pair of NikeLab AF1’s. I got the first pair when I was in Paris earlier this year shooting this editorial. I wanted these so bad that I didn’t care about them being 1,5 size too big (because my size was sold out already). Extra insoles fixed that problem! But then Nike restocked them last week. And I managed to get a pair in my own size! So now I can wear these Vachetta Tan AF1’s without extra insoles and without hurting my feet! WINNER!
