How to be street for the holidays #3 – Waiting for the ball drop

Almost time for NYE; so why not share some inspo on how to still remain street for the holidays. These weeks I will be showing a little series of what to wear for the holidays. There will be 3 different occasions and 3 different outfits (check the first & second one in this series here). Todays theme; Waiting for the ball drop aka New Years Eve

On New Years Eve you want to go all out BUT be your streetwear-ish self at the same time. So heres some tips;

  • Sequins are the answer. It’s an instant festive look when you add some sequins
  • Don’t be afraid to wear some color. Everyone’s always wearing black for NYE somehow.. Why not start the new year off colorfull?
  • I know that the cleated creepers are not for everyone but I love them. Adding a chunky sneaker to your festive outfit is key. And I tied the long laces in a ballerina kinda way to make it look a bit more feminine.
  • I always like to have my hair out of my face/neck when partying and I love the look of a messy top bun with a more dressy outfit. Plus; you don’t want your hair to be set on fire with all that fire works. Better safe than sorry; burned hair is never a good look ;).

wearing – Zara sequin skirt, Champion x Supreme tee, H&M earrings, Fenty x PUMA cleated creepers
