PUMA Thunder Desert – Girl on Kicks

With this heatwave going on a Desert drop seems very fitting! The latest drop of the PUMA Thunder is right up my alley; pastels and monotone vibes all over! So when shooting this PUMA Thunder desert drop I thought we need something as soft and pastel-y as the shoes. I stumbled upon this location in my hood by accident – it’s a foam plastic store and I can tell you; it’s all so squishy! I Teamed up with Puck again who is the queen of dreamy and soft photos and created this little editorial for you guys 🙂

Now more about this PUMA Thunder Desert! Where the Thunder Spectra drops were more of a bold statement with it’s color blocking and neon pops, this Thunder Desert version comes in soft color scheme that mimics the colors of the desert at dusk. As you can read in the previous story I did on the PUMA Thunder – here – the design of the PUMA thunder takes inspiration from the 90’s Cell System running silhouettes and the PUMA x MCQueen collaboration. This style is a reimagined pair of kicks with a bulky, unapologetic look and feel – which I LOVE!

These two new PUMA Thunder Desert colorways dropped on August 2nd! Get them now at Baskèts, Patta and other known PUMA retailers.

Ps. you snooze, you lose!
