London with Girl on Kicks | Video

A little later than planned. But here it is; The Second London video. This video is a short recap of my very short trip to London a few weeks ago! Also a little sneaker and streetwear (and a bit of food) hotspot list. Enjoy! And make sure you like & subscribe on my YouTube channel cause theres more videos coming.

Day 1

We arrived early on saturday morning. So we went for coffee and breakfast first (much needed)! Then visited Crepe City (see full Crepe City recap video here) for a few hours! Heres some of the spots we visited after CC on saturday.

  • DumDum doughnuts For those of you who don’t know; I’m obsessed with donuts. mainly because there are NO good donutplaces in Holland. So whenever I’m visiting london I just have to get some donuts. DumDum doughnuts has the best cronuts (croissant/doughnuts) and they had a little haloween theme going on which was too cute.
  • Footpatrol – One of my favorite sneakerstores in town! this really small place in SOHO is stuffed with the dopest releases and just overall good vibes!
  • Supreme It’s quite obvious that I had to visit Supreme. Didn’t buy anything this time, since I’m on a budget. But this store is def a must visit when you’re into streetwear!
  • Palace – Same story with Supreme. Footpatrol, Supreme and Palace are located really close to eachother, so you can do a quick SOHO sneaker and streetwear tour!
  • Shake Shack first experienced Shake Shack when I was in NYC a few years ago. Good NYC memories! Last time when I was in London I didn’t have time to go there so this time I had to visit. Cheese fries and yummy burgers!
  • Nandos – ‘Went for a cheeky Nandos with the lads’. Haha, so yeah; after Crepe City we went for dinner at Nandos with the squad! Chicken on chicken on chicken,

Day 2

My travel companion went partying with the Hanon crew on saturdaynight (I was beyond tired so I didn’t join). So I planned some time alone in London. Which was actually really nice. Meeting new people.. doing the things you want to do! So I started my day early at the Columbia Road flower market in Shoreditch. I had good memories to that place from the last time I visited London. Heres some of the other places I visited on my second day in London!

  • Columbia Road – flower market Perfect place to start your sunday morning with a good coffee or tea with milk & a scone, while watching the commute go by. Also alot of cute vintage places.
  • Shoreditch – My favorite area in London! Lots of streetart, good lunch/coffee and dinner places.
  • Pam Pam I was following this womens sneaker & streetwear store on Instagram for quite some time already so it was good to see the store in reallife! loved the collections and the interior of this shop.
  • Boxpark Lots and lots of containers with cool mini stores. I visited the Filling Pieces store there and bumped into someone I knew from way back when I was still working at the Nike store. He joined me for lunch at the Bricklane food market. Fun times!
  • NikeLab An absolute must visit, haha! All the exclusive Nike styles drop at this store. So make sure you drop by when you’re in town.
  • Goodhood That feeling when you enter a store and you want to have every single thing. Yup, that’s Goodhood.. I wasn’t allowed to film inside this store but they have the best selection of (high end) streetwear brands. Such as Norse Project Wood wood and much more. Their interior items are so so good as well!
  • Mast Brothers Best chocolate ever! A friend of mine recommended this place, he said they have the best hot chocolate in town. So I thought; how good can a hot chocolate be? Well, it’s superrrr good! Super expensive tho, but totally worth it. Treat yoself!
  • Sneakersnstuff This sneakerstore which is originally from sweden opened a store in Shoreditch a little while ago. All the best releases and a great selection of clothing as well!
  • Patty & Bun Best. Burger. In. A. Long. Time!!! I couldn’t imagine myself a better way to end this short London trip. Great Burgers (the meat is so soft and perfectly grilled) and the sides are on point as well!

Places I wanted to visit but didn’t have time for;

Dover street market, Liberty London, NikeTown, Uniqlo, Muji, Bao, The modern pantry and much more!

Which means I have to go back soon. For at least a week this time!
