Farfetch x The Shoe Surgeon Workshop | Alexander McQueen Oversized sneaker

It’s been a while since I last did a new in post. But this one is a very special one, a 1 of 1.. so I definitely had to post this!

I just came back from a very awesome little London trip. I was invited by Farfetch to come over to London for a sneaker customize workshop with Dominic Chambrone a.k.a The Shoe Surgeon. This legendary sneaker customizer teamed up with Farfetch to teach us his customize ways. My weapon of choice was this Alexander McQueen Oversized sneaker. I thought this would be a good blank canvas to work with.. Went for a bit of a white on off white on white concept and added a little ruffle on the back of the shoe. I actually made holes in a €400,- shoe; can you imagine how scary this was?! Then I added some gold eyeleds and a little holographic patch on the tongue. I love the ballerina approach when it comes to lacing (like I did with the Creepers as well) so decided to add long laces to this shoe to. I think it has a bit of a angelic white & winged look & I’m so happy with the result (plus SUPER happy that I didn’t f*ck them up). Some people kept it really simple but I thought; when do we ever get the chance to do this, so I might as well go all out.. so I did!

Major shout out to Farfetch for this amazing experience & for spoiling me on this amazing trip!
