My first trip for this year was def one for the books. I was invited by adidas to come to Berlin to celebrate the rebirth of the adidas EQT line. A 3 day trip with adi.. I got to bring a friend (Kapi) and one of my fav people in the world Saskia (Maha Amsterdam) was there to. This combo means madness; calling ourselves the #terrorsquad and basically laughing non stop 3 days in a row. If you’ve seen my Insta Stories you’ll probably know what I mean.
Arriving on Monday we quickly dropped off our stuff at the hotel and went for lunch with the whole Holland/Belgium group. After that we went on a turbo shop visit tour. Berlin has so many superrrrrdope stores but unfortunately we didn’t have time to visit them all. So we visited the ones closest to eachother; Voo store, No 74, Soto, Firmament and the newly opened SneakersnStuff. After that we quickly freshed up in the hotel and went to the adidas dinner at the EQT loft. Which was the sickest venue. An old loft like building with 3 floors filled with adidas EQT archive stuff, the new EQT line and the most awesome equipment themed things (like adidas tetris, 3D printed miniature sneakers etc). We had a great dinner at the loft and went back to the hotel to make sure we were fresh for the next day. Scroll down for pics of the first day & for day 2 as well!
Day 2
Waking up early on day 2 because there was a pretty busy scedule. Me and Kelly (Photographer for Avenue Antwerp, but you might remember her from this awesome shoot we did together) left the hotel a bit earlier to shoot some quick outfit shots on the way to the EQT loft. I will post these photos in a separate outfitpost! Starting with a Q&A moderated by HighSnobiety with Marc from overkill and 2 adidas designers. Very interesting stories and questions! After that there was lunch and then we were split up in groups to go on a Insta walk. We walked through Kreuzberg and visited all the good spots for photography and saw the prettiest architecture Berlin has to offer. When we got back from the tour theres was some time to freshen up and chill before we went to have dinner at Princess Kimchi, which was amazing! Then off to the official launch party of the adidas EQT with a live performance from King Push! loads of crazy dances & drinks with all my favorite international (sneaker-)homies. Then after just 2 hours of sleep it was time to head back to Amsterdam. So the third day was just traveling and more jokes with the group. still recovering at this point but hey I’ll ok!
